Marcelle Stoianovich, a French designer, was born in Paris. She graduated from the College des Arts Appliqué in Paris and exhibited in galleries in Paris and New York, gaining recognition for her distinctive style. Her work is housed in private collections in both France and the United States.
Ms. Stoianovich passed away in 2014

Currently, it has minimal backing- very stable but would benefit from foam board instead of current board and paper, or a new frame set if desired. The frame is sturdy to hang as is, and the "glass" is break resistant acrylic. less
