Known as the Marquesa lounge chair featuring an oversized beech frame intricately hand-carved with an intentionally aged, distressed, or pickled finish to mimic age. The chairs are sturdy and solid with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. The generous seat has a peaked crest and wide padded armrests measuring 26.5 inches high. The carved frames are decorated with floral motifs. The seats are supported by elegant cabriole legs. The chairs feature a distinctive stripe pattern upholstery fabric. The fabric while being vintage shows well and is very presentable. The fabric is bordered by nickel brass tack nail heads. Sold as a pair. From an estate in Beverly Hills, California. Original Kreiss order tags on bottoms of chairs.
