With its distinctive undulating rim, elongated neck, and rounded base, the form mirrors a rare “Stork Series” design documented in the Legras catalog of the period (Ref. 0530 – Porte-Bouquets “Cigogne”).

The hand-blown glass features marbled pink, white, and oxblood hues—known as jaspered or powdered glass—capturing light with exceptional depth and movement. A prominent swirl tooling mark appears low on the body, a natural result of the glassmaker’s manipulation while hot, adding character and authenticity to the piece. The pontil mark on the base is rough-cut, consistent with 19th-century studio techniques.

While unsigned, the vase aligns closely with documented Legras forms (Clichy, France, ca. 1889). The colorway and shape are consistent with known “Porte-Bouquets Cigogne” examples, including a near-identical illustration found in the company’s historical catalog.
