A refined mid-century still life that captures a crisp moment of domestic simplicity with photorealistic precision, executed in oil onto canvas.

At the centre, a knife rests diagonally on a highly polished surface, its reflection rendered with meticulous attention. Flanking it are three apple segments – one halved, one whole, and one freshly cut – each painted with soft transitions of red, yellow, and green, evoking ripeness and freshness.

The artist employs a naturalistic style with subtle tonal gradations and a restrained palette.
