description of the item:
a wonderful set of four polychrome porcelain figurines depicting three children in different poses with different animals and a girl with a guitar, all signed under the base with the mark of the famous hungarian manufacturer hollohàza and underneath with the inscription "aquincum." dating from the second half of the 20th century, 1900. The four subjects depicted are particularly charming, in the classic and inimitable hungarian style. Note the beauty of the poses of the various subjects, their expressiveness, and the sweetness of the animals depicted, especially the bunny.

the hollóháza artistic porcelain factory was founded in 1777 in hungary, originally as a glass factory. It is one of the oldest hungarian porcelain manufacturers still in operation, now state-owned.
