Information about the artist and/or manufacturer:
Josiah Wedgwood & Sons Ltd., commonly known as Wedgwood, is an English fine ceramics manufacturer based in Staffordshire, renowned for its creamware, basaltware, and jasperware. With over 250 years of history behind it, Wedgwood is undoubtedly one of the most iconic English ceramics manufacturers of all time. The history of Wedgwood began in England in 1759, when Josiah Wedgwood opened a pottery workshop in Burslem, Staffordshire.
