Collectible Fine quality handmade cobalt and gold German Porcelain ashtray. The makers mark on bottom confirms this to be manufactured by Lindner Kueps in Munchen, Bavaria.
Lindner Kueps is known for their high-quality porcelain and outstanding craftsmanship. The mark also reads “Echt Cobalt” translating to Real Cobalt. This signifies the use of genuine cobalt blue glaze, a characteristic of many Lindner pieces.
Lindner often combine gold details in their works. Aizgold meaning etched gold and handual meaning handmade.
The ashtray also features indentations on the rim to hold cigarettes or cigars.
