To achieve a uniquely soft and lived-in appearance, the rug was gently sun-faded over three summer months in Anatolia’s highland terraces. Its original pile has also been professionally sheared to a low, velvety finish—minimizing wool shedding while enhancing the definition of its tribal motifs.
