The maker's markings are on the underside, of the polished pontil base bottom. It states, Venini Murano Italia. It is a gorgeous example of many Venini Murano bowls, which were made in this exact shape, with rounded edging to the top lip perimeter, with similar, deep coved well interior, is tantamount to their identity, notwithstanding, their long-standing following, part and partial to their quality and craftsmanship, the Venini Foundry is known for, especially during it's heyday.
