Charming cottage style corner chair dates to the Victorian era (late 1800s). With its turned wood details, this style of chair is alternatively referred to as bobbin, spindle, spool, or Stick and Ball. The chair is all wood construction; the seat appears to be covered with linoleum or oil cloth. Authentically distressed creamy white paint, with just the right amount of shabby. Evidence of older paint colors (gold, olive green) are visible. A highly decorative piece with age, charm, and authentic patina.
Measures 19.25 inches square x 32 inches high at tallest point, with a 14.75 inch seat height. Please see condition report for more details.

Evidence of older paint colors (gold, olive green) is visible. One spindle is missing from the seat back (shown in photos). There is a slight bit of "give" to the chair, but I would not call it wobbly. The chair is sturdy enough for use. A highly decorative piece with age, charm, and authentic patina. less
