A wonderful set of four highly detailed and footed glass Oyster Plates.
9" diameter, with room for six oysters and a center circle for the sauce or mignonette.
Tremendous detailing and a nice weight - substantial for sure. We're guessing French, cause they do such nice things with modern, useful glassware in all forms.
In keeping with Aesop's fable, Fox and Crow's Motto is "Beware of False Flattery!" So, with each listing we offer a true confession about the item...
You had me at Oysters! They are may very favorite - with Champagne of course - and I collect Oyster Plates and accessories of all types.
We have rarely seen pure glass Oyster Plates in our adventures, much less with fine detailing, feet, and a classic size.
These you could use AND display...which may be the best off all worlds!
