The hand painted bisque hen sits on her eggs in a glossy Sienna brown basket weave oval base. The hen shows a white feathered body with folded wings and erect tail feathers. Her head is highlighted in black and brick red. She warms her eggs on a bed of green grass.

Decorated in the round – she can be displayed from any angle.

The interior of the base and lid are finished in white.
Both the base and lid are marked with mold numbers.

A charming hen.

9 in. L x 6.5 in. W x 7 in. H

Good antique condition. Very light flea biting to the interior rim of the base, unseen when the hen is seated. See less
