Professionally matted and framed in the early 20th-century, this set of two large 19th-century hand-colored engraved art print portraits of French military officers would make dramatic wall decor in a contemporary home.
One antique engraved portrait shows Eugène de Beauharnais, Napoleonic War soldier, French statesman, and adopted son of Napoleon I in military regalia. The other engraved art print is of Pierre de Ruel, Marquis de Beurnonville, a general during the French Revolutionary Wars and Napoleonic Era statesman.
