It is the original cover of the French Femina magazine from 1937. It is NOT a recent reproduction print. Magazine cover art has become a highly collectible and desireable genre. It is increasingly more difficult to find in excellent condition as it is highly susceptible to stains, rips, and discoloration with the passage of time. Furthermore, vintage sport related theme prints are rare to find as well, making this type of image even harder to find. This print is in PRISTINE condition. It features a chic fashionable woman with her binoculars watching the horses on a summer day at the racetrack. The image is signed in lower right by the fashion illustrator, Pierre Mourgue.
