A rare and distinctive Italian Modernist free-standing coat rack / entryway hall tree, likely designed by legendary 20th century icon, designer, architect and Memphis Milano Group founder Ettore Sottsass (1917-2007)
Original Midcentury Modern, the unique, elegantly designed, exceptionally executed functional art furniture features a sculptural four-part bentwood upper, with ten wooden peg hooks, six lower and four knobs surmounted to the protruding curved split shaped top, supported by straight square standard, in the original white paint finish, rising from circular onyx stone base. circa 1960s Italy
