A stunning antique Regency style chess table. This was made in England, it dates from around the 1950’s.
It is beautifully designed and is of very high quality. The frame is inlaid with a walnut and satinwood chessboard, and has a cross banded edge in satin wood. It stands on a beautifully turned baluster base, with splayed legs terminating in brass hairy paw casters.
We have had this re-polished, it is in excellent condition for its age.
