This was a common prize given out at carnivals during the 1920s-1950s. This style dog in particular was commonly given as a prize. Not often do you find these with the paint in such good condition, which makes me believe it may have been repainted, but I’m not entirely sure. There is a small chip on one of the ears. This is photographed. Otherwise there is little wear. This dog appears to double as a cute bank, with no plug. So, you’d have to break the bank to get the money out if you choose to use it as a piggy bank. See less
