Depicted are the cars, stores, advertisements, people, pets, and atmosphere of life in a picturesque location somewhere of note. An artist's proof is an impression of a print taken in the print making process to see the current printing state of a plate while the plate (or wood block) is being worked on by the artist. Because the number of APs is smaller and because the APs are "closer to the artist's hand" signed APs tend to be more valuable than the prints of a signed a numbered limited edition. This is an originally signed artist proof (A/P). Artist original signature appears in the bottom right. The actual picture is 27.5" wide and 20" tall, it is matted with 2.5" forest green and 0.375" gray matting board. See less
