deep mirroring forests  - polyptychs

the images have been captured 2023 in national parks of estonia. The forest-lakes are hidden deep in the forests, accessible only via kilometer-long hikes. There's no one there, only silence and pure untouched nature.

a polyptych refers to multi-divided paintings or multi-part relief panels made up of more than two elements, which can be found in particular as devotional or altarpieces. A multiple picture made up of two parts is a diptych, with three picture parts it is a triptych and a pentaptych represents a five-part picture.

for this photo-series several captures are stitched together to achieve an extra high resolution to generate large scale fine art pieces which could be several meters wide.
