An elegant Haviland fine French porcelain dinner set consisting of 9 very elegant plates and a service dish for 4 people.
The plates are decorated with an elegant embossed scalloped border, this 'Torse Swirl', was first created in the 1870's.
The serving dish has a round form with the same graceful embossed scalloped border.
The decoration on the serving dish is an esoteric design of Tree of Life (or cashmere).
All the plates are stamped with the Haviland Company 'Mark s', circa 1962.
Such sets are rare and hard to find, especially in such good and neat condition\.
The plates are in very good condition.
