Made … Read more An extraordinary relic of pre-cinema ingenuity, this 19th-century German "magic lantern" projector offers both visual charm and historical intrigue! Made circa 1890, the piece features a polished brass lens assembly paired with a black-painted tin body and a removable original oil lamp light source. It is complete with three brass wick adjusters and chimney housing.

Once used to project hand-painted glass slides, this lantern served as an early entertainment device and precursor to modern film projectors.
