About the poster: The AFAO association, recognized as being of public utility and founded at the Guimet Museum in 1920 by prominent French Orientalists, aims to promote understanding of Asian cultures and to contribute to the influence of the Guimet Museum of Asian Arts. Today, with the support of the researchers, archaeologists, and historians it has brought together, the association offers a wide range of activities: conferences in collaboration with the EFEO and the Guimet Museum, lecture series co-organized with the museum, guided exhibition tours, and thematic weekends.
