With its impish face and all together splendid color palette, this little piglet is perfectly suited to host a potted plant (live or faux) as a cachepot or as a planter, sans a pot. The playful motif of florals and foliates will brighten up any space as an eye-catching decorative accent, in or out of doors. There is a drainage hole on the bottom, should you choose to plant a live plant.

Mexican Talavera is handcrafted in the town of San Pablo del Monte (in Tlaxcala) and the cities of Puebla, Atlixco, Cholula and Tecali (all these four latter in the state of Puebla) for the type of the natural clay found there. Please keep in mind, Talavera is ceramic earthenware and may chip or break if not handled carefully. In addition, if left outdoors in the elements, it will fade and so it’s best to place on a covered patio or screened in porch. This cutie measures 12” x 6” x 9½” W/D/H; interior 6” x 6” x 4” W/D/H; weight 3 lbs. 4 oz. The splendid color palette consists of orange hues in all their variations, from persimmon, coral to salmon and assorted variations of blue, hints of green and teal with black accents. This cutie has been kept indoors so condition is excellent. Handcrafted by an unknown Talavera artisan whose signature is on the underside. With its colorfully charming look-and-feel, this little piglet is certain to complement most any design or color scheme in your home!
