This charming vintage Bacardi bottle is a standout piece of mid-century barware, featuring an intricately handwoven wicker wrapping that lends it both rustic charm and visual texture. Complete with a looped wicker handle and its original embossed metal cap marked “Bacardi,” this bottle likely once held the famous rum but now serves beautifully as a decorative piece or collectible.
The green glass peeks through the woven casing, adding depth and a subtle glow. The bottom reveals a darker reed weave, indicative of artisanal craftsmanship. While it’s unclear where exactly this was produced, similar pieces were commonly created in the Caribbean or Latin America for export during the 1950s–1970s.
Perfect for coastal, tiki, or eclectic decor styles, this bottle makes a wonderful addition to bar carts, bohemian shelves, or bottle collections. It also adds nostalgic flair when styled with other rattan or natural material accents.
Condition:
Good vintage condition with wear consistent with age. No known breaks to the glass. Please note there are two pieces missing from the wicker on one side, but the structure is stable and attractive.
