We happened to find it in an estate north of Greensboro. Sturdy, heavy, and strong, this chair should last you for another couple of centuries. We decided that the upholstery was due for an update. We chose this very neutral-hued linen Chinoiserie toile print in shades of antique white, taupe, beige, and gray. The exterior sides and back are covered in an antique white linen. These colors are truly quite neutral, but we especially like the chair with burgundy and dark blue hues. Whether your color scheme is subtle or loud, whether your furnishings capture a modern or classic aesthetic, we think this chair would manage very well. The chair measures 32 inches high at the crest, and the seat is 19 inches from the floor. It is 37 inches wide and 34 inches deep.
