A captivating modernist landscape that captures a serene winter evening in a town, painted with a whimsical yet sophisticated hand., executed in oil onto canvas and dated 2004.

The composition is anchored by slender, trees stretching vertically across the canvas, their trunks etched in expressive, confident brushstrokes. Beyond the trees, a snow-covered red cottage stands bathed in the glow of a pink and amber sunset, with a fiery sun gently sinking into the horizon.

The artist has used a vivid yet harmonious palette- rosy pinks, icy blues, yellows, and earthy browns. Snow is rendered in light texture, while delicate dabs of white and gold depict the last leaves of autumn clinging to frosted branches. A few scattered birds and a ladder leaning against the cottage hint at daily life amidst stillness.
