Here is a charming collection of Johnson Brothers ironware in their "Hearts and Flowers" pattern produced in the 1970-1980's. The pattern is now discontinued. I love the Dutch/Delft influence of the design with a couple in the center and beautiful floral details surrounding them and a detailed blue border. This is a collection of pieces that the previous owner put together over several years - some of the pieces are older, which you can see in the photograph of the maker's mark on the reverse of the plates. The "newer" pieces have a bit more gloss and very slight color difference. Please see the 6th photo for the best description of a newer plate next to an older plate. Made in England.
