Executed with striking naturalism and delicate brushwork, in the manner of KPM Berlin. Signed “Dannus” at lower right. Based on style and subject, likely of Central European origin, possibly Austria.

Presented in an ornate round Victorian giltwood frame with deeply carved rococo floral and scroll motifs, gold leaf over gesso. A museum-quality pairing of fine porcelain and period craftsmanship.
