NOTE: I have two matching tables/stools, as shown together in the photos, which are being sold individually. Intricate, vivid designs on each individual cloisonné top depicting exotic colorful flowers with one bird flying around and another perched on a tree branch. This classic Chinese incense stand is formed of mortise-and-tenon joinery with a round top, waisted apron and five curved legs that arch towards a circular floor stretcher. A traditional form used to elevate incense burners in the middle of a room, so as to better disperse the aroma, this round pedestal is intended to be seen from all sides. As a result, these tables are designed with balanced forms and graceful, flowing lines from any angle. Today, this refined incense stand is a beautiful way to elevate a sculpture, houseplant or floral arrangement or use it as a unique drink table.
