The gold vintage mid-century frame is a lovely finishing touch for this delicate painting. This frame is old and has some age-related wear and scuffs.

The Renaissance period, Classicism and Cubism are primary references for my work. I always begin in the representational and let the work evolve into the abstract or remain representational. Although divergent in process, my work at its core remains connected to the inspirations from which they were conceived. The subject matter whether portraiture, figurative, still life or landscape are important. And yet, the true subject and passion always lies in balance, symmetry, structure, shapes and spacial relationships.
