A unique piece, this large reception desk comes from the Kyoto International Conference Center, designed by Sachio Otani and inaugurated in 1966.
Isamu Kenmochi and his studio, Isamu Kenmochi Design Laboratory, were responsible for the center's general furnishings and interior design. The furniture Kenmochi created for this project was produced in collaboration with renowned Japanese manufacturers such as Tendo Mokko and Yamakawa Rattan.
This desk features a wooden base covered in gray leather with a stainless steel plinth, and a thick, profiled rosewood top.
Manufacturer: Tendo Mokko, 1966 I have official proof of authenticity such as vintage catalogs,
designer records,
