This is a lovely vintage Chinese 4-panel folding screen in hand-painted gouache or watercolor and ink on silk, mounted on … Read more This is a lovely vintage Chinese 4-panel folding screen in hand-painted gouache or watercolor and ink on silk, mounted on a lacquered wood frame, with engraved metal corners and side mounts and four brass Chinese figured hangars. The scene, in soft, neutral colors depicts a chrysanthemum tree with birds. The piece is artist signed and stamped. According to the translator app I used, the title is "Wunan Double Garden", however I cannot be certain that is correct. The backing appears to be a linen fabric. There is a "Made in China" sticker on the back. See less
