Jindřich Halabalas was a Czech furniture designer and university lecturer. His work forms a link between the innovative Czech Cubism of 1910, the Art Deco of the early 1920s, and the European Mid-century modern style that emerged after the Second World War. His most successful designs bear the stylistic hallmarks of the Bauhaus.
