This chair has been looked at by several connaisseurs which say it is a prag rudniker chair and more then likely designed by hans volmer. It also has some koloman moser feel in it. Especially the way the cords are woven in to the back- and armrests. The chair was painted over in green and has been restored with the utmost precision while retaining it's authenticity. All restorings are done by hand and without the use of aggressive paint stripping methods of what kind so ever. This way old using scratches, bumbs or discolorations in the wood are still showing. The cord (woven cane) used for this chair is still the original one. It has some small restorings in the cord but it is not disturbing in the chair as a whole. As a collector, which i also am, i know it is of the greatest importance to keep an item to its original condition as near as possible.
