Direct from France, and one of several exquisite glass door bookcase/cabinets from our most recent container. Wonderfully hand carved oak pieces in the highly sought-after Black Forest, Gothic, Renaissance Revival and Barley Twist styles, all 19th century and in wonderful condition. Any of them would make a statement piece for your home or office!

THIS CABINET is tall and majestic, (over 7 ft.), with a SLENDER PROFILE (20”), excellent for placement throughout the home.

The large, carved high crown is flanked by carved lion masks with center banding of foliate scrolls. Carved arched trim frames the glass upper door with carved Black Forest fruit, nuts and foliage the length of the door.

A full-length, carved front and dovetailed joint drawer rests between two carved lion masks. The door is framed with matching trim to the upper cabinet; carved Black Forest fruit/foliate the length of the door.
Large, paneled lower door has geometric moulding design with a center lion mask medallion.
Quality throughout, well built by craftsmen of the period, c1880.

Base only, 39” ht. x 38” x 20”.
Top only, 50” ht. x 41” x 15”.
Two upper shelves, 30.75” x 7.25”.
