A set of six exquisite hand crafted art nouveau champagne coupes by J&L Lobmeyr, having six petaled floral shapes, further enriched with high karat rim gilding and a stylish hand enameled three letter monogram in gold and red, these refined glasses reflects the bygone gilded age of opulence and glamour at the end of 19th century. Each marked with painted gold J&L Lobmeyr logo to base. Circa 1890 -1900. Lobmeyr was founded in 1823.
These glasses are mouth blown to a thickness known as 'Muslin Glass', named after finely woven muslin fabric, producing this type of glassware requires skill and experience of seasoned glass blowers with many years of knowledge of the craft.
