The type of wood is presumed to be rosewood. The set has great day-to-day utility, is great for small areas, and provides for additional surface area, which comes in handy while entertaining. The decorative wooden detailing blends with any decor. This set has been in our family since at least the 1950’s per family photographs of our grandparents’ home. Unfortunately, our latest downsizing means we’ll have to part with this beautiful nesting table set. Felt pads are on the bottoms of all legs that help to avoid scratching floors when moving each table around. Minor wear, including small areas of wood splitting and chipping noted that is consistent with an item of this age.

When fully nested, the set corresponds to measurements of the largest table. Table sizes, largest to smallest:
