A handsome mid-19th century English vanity or dressing box, circa 1850–1860s, crafted in richly grained rosewood and accented with mother-of-pearl and abalone shell inlay to the escutcheon and cartouche.
Interior fittings have been removed, offering a clean and versatile interior for repurposing or display. A fine example of English decorative box craftsmanship from the 1850s–60s. Perfect as a jewelry box, keepsake chest, or decorative accent piece.
