An intimate interior scene that exudes warmth and quietude and executed in an impressionist style, painted in oil onto canvas and dated 1989.

Depicting a sunlit corner set for two, the composition depicts round table draped in white linen is flanked by a pair of red chairs with floral upholstery, evoking a sense of lived-in elegance. Atop the table sits a vase overflowing with wildflowers, while a cat rests peacefully at the foot of the chairs, blending gently into the richly textured floor.

Executed in a modern impressionist style, the painting features thick, expressive brushstrokes and a soft, diffused palette of warm ochres, terracotta reds, and dusty blues.
