The shade base is new bronze screening material, which was used on screened porches, years ago. The screen will never rust or corrode, but it will age into a warm tony bronze color.
Top and bottom wires and vertical edges are finished with black cotton rayon grosgrain ribbon. All hidden wiring is painted with flat black enamel paint.

Fitting and Finish
Spider top, one half inch recess. Brass finish.

Hexagon bell frame lampshade.
