The room is richly decorated with ornate gold-framed paintings on the walls, a plush velvet sofa, and a gilded side table topped with a floral arrangement.
The frame is a substantial Baroque gold gilt frame.

The artist was a prominent Spanish painter who served as the director of the Prado Museum.
