Sourced in Portugal, these handmade terracotta pots lay submersed under water as octopus traps. Often numbered and tied together, they gathered sea life such as the oyster shells that encrust the surface. Natures work of art and one of a kind. Holes at the base were a necessity.
Shells can be pried off the bottom if you choose to stand the pot upright.
