This beautiful clear crystal casket holds two ruby red glass perfume bottles with gilt bronze and porcelain caps depicting Grand … Read more This beautiful clear crystal casket holds two ruby red glass perfume bottles with gilt bronze and porcelain caps depicting Grand Tour scenes of the Pantheon in Rome and the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. Each perfume bottle has a fitted glass stopper. The crystal casket is surrounded by gilt bronze and ormolu detailing including twisted rope handles on the sides. Although there is a locking mechanism on the front, the original key is missing. The interior basket rim has an etched band of vines and flowers, which may be gold-filled as it has retained its shine unlike the ormolu exterior. See less
