Whimsical eye-catching shell-shaped rattan and willow sewing (or storage) basket with bamboo-shaped loop latches that keep the hinged top secure. Ear-shaped rattan wrapped double handles for easy carrying that fold flat when not in use. Handwoven from natural, un-dyed rattan and willow weavers and lashes in an over and under pattern; colors are golden hues of sand, khaki, ecru and almond. This cutie weighs 11 oz. and measures as follows:

Standing upright: 12½” high with handles up; 10½” high with handles folded down; 10¾” x 5” W/D

Lying down: 10¾” x 10” x 5¼” W/D/H; interior 10” x 9” x 4” W/D/H

In excellent condition; structurally sound with minimal age-appropriate wear. No makers mark. I photographed the basket in the round to show all sides and nuances of the weave and coloring throughout. With its sublime coastal chic vibe this cutie will complement any design style and will be useful in any space for storage or display!
