An exceptional 18th century George Il figured mahogany kneehole desk with a rectangular banded beveled edged top, inlaid green leather pull-out writing surface, one long drawer, six small drawers, brass bail pulls with pierced escutcheons, bracket feet and original key. The kneehole (the opening of which is 13ʺ W × 22.5ʺ H) has a small storage compartment with a single shelf.
