Custom-made cotton sateen curtain panels in a pale brown/cafe au lait color, bordered horizontally on one side with a four-inch, contrast, cream border. Each pair of curtains will include one panel with a left and a right border to properly frame the window. The panels are lined with both light cotton and light fleece which offer light and sound dampening. In keeping with their luxurious appearance, the material has a heft to it; each panel weighs over 8 lbs.
The curtains deploy a three-finger tacked pleat at the top, also known as the Euro pleat, which has three equal folds like the pinch pleat but the pleat is tacked at the top. The Euro pleat offers a more updated look than the pinch pleat, while still controlling the fullness. The pleats occur every 5” and a drapery pin is already sewn on the back of the curtain to support each pleat. Additional drapery pins are sewn behind the top edges of each curtain, so there is nothing stopping you from hanging immediately. The top of the curtain measures approximately 44” with the pleats.
The bottom features a 4” hem which you could let out if necessary. The pricing is for one pair of curtain panels, a left and right bordered panel.
Four pairs (eight panels) of curtains are available for sale. This listing is for one pair (two panels).
CONDITION:
The panels were made to order in the US around 2006 and originally cost $12,000 for all eight panels, including hardware (hardware is not part of this listing). They are in very good condition with wear commensurate with age and use. Each panel was inspected and no significant staining is present. Sun fading appears on the panel sides and on some linings, in areas that face the windows, but are not visible when hung. For more detail, reference pictures in the listing.
Original owner and the panels come from a smoke-free home.
