The chandelier has a central black body accentuated with a gold/brass ring at the bottom and painted details. From there, you can see the sculptural wood and gold metal pieces curve outward to surround the modern, glass shades. I love the small touches that add so much elegance to this light - notice the brass finial details on the wood, how the opaline shades appear to float and the black painted edges. The rod can be removed/replaced if you require a different length. Also, there is a canopy included, but I do not know if it is original or how it is installed.
