Korean Stoneware Vessel, Choson (Joseon) Dynasty
Offered is this stoneware bottle-vase. The neutral greenish glaze is evenly speckled with darker spots. The form has a bowl-shaped lower section that turns sharply inward at the shoulder. The tapering neck includes two well-defined rims and a low cupped rim, with an underglaze red tone.
The recognizable Korean coarse base displays a series of kiln stilt marks.
