(paper) 47.00 cm. x 60.00 cm. 18.5 in. x 23.62 in. (image) Arches paper. In his insect series, Bernard Buffet turns his sharp, precise brushstrokes to the service of a singular bestiary, at once fascinating and disquieting. Each insect becomes a sculptural figure, revealing a cold, implacable beauty. Certificate of authenticity. Paper slightly yellowed, a few accidents at the edge of the sheet, adhesives on the reverse. otherwise in very good condition. This piece is attributed to the mentioned designer/maker.
