Pierced splat backs, carved and shaped seat rail, cabriole legs, H-stretcher, and removable seats (easy to reupholster). Decorative carving along legs. 
Restored, stable and ready for use. Later professionally painted in layered shades of pale gray with antique white undertone, all lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of this lovely set of Swedish chairs. 
Listed dimensions are for the side chairs. Seat height: 19" 
Armchair dimensions: 26"w x 19"d x 44.5"h
Arm height: 27"
Simple light gray linen fabric has been stapled to the seat bottoms, allowing buyer to visualize what this set will look like if they choose to have seats upholstered.
